What do you do? In a word: entertain. For years we have incorporated our honed skills, carefully selected props , and endless enthusiasm to entertain crowds of various sizes and ages.
Do you only perform at libraries? Actually, no. The Slicks (David and Devin Slick) have performed hundreds of times at a variety of places outside of libraries including churches, schools, businesses, and major companies. Professional performing began when David Slick was contracted to perform multiple times at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. They mailed a letter praising his entertaining over previous experienced performers.
Why should we book you? Because we offer at least 2 unique aspects for your audience that you can’t find elsewhere. (1) Look at our performance description and our price. We’ve invested tons of time, energy and money to have reached this incredibly high level of performance skill mastery, top-of the-line props, and fancy costumes. You can’t find this combination anywhere else for the price. (2) The best thing about the experience we offer is the close connection we can make with almost any audience. This is possible because we are young enough to be energetic, fun, and kid-like, yet we are experienced enough to be professional towards children, parents and library staff before during and after the show. Parents will surely be impressed by David Slick, the best juggler in all of DFW! We offer the best of both worlds: fun and professional.
Can you perform with a particular theme or teach a particular lesson? Yes, indeed. David and Devin Slicks will customize our costumes and routines to whatever theme and/or message you would like. Of course, this will take some time, so please give us a heads up.
I don’t want you to use knives or fire. Is that ok? We are told that often. Even though we can perform with those props safely, it isn’t always appropriate. We have never had an accident. We will simply replace those routines with others such as one using plungers or eggs.
How do I prepare for your performance? Our shows incorporate a variety of skills, but baby-sitting isn’t one of them. There needs be enough adults present to take care of misbehaving children. Some skills require on-site equipment—a strobe light requires a nearby electrical outlet or extension cord and the 6-foot unicycle requires a ceiling of at least 9 feet. Please have payment ready very soon after arrival or closing act since we may need to go straight to another event.
Do you perform rain or shine? We will perform under any arrangements you’ve made for inclement weather. |

(words of on of their agents) · Skills: Juggling, Unicycling, Balance Stunts, Throwing Playing Cards, Balloon Twisting, Face Painting, Magic . . . See The Show! for more. ACCOMPLISHMENTS Able to juggle while: · eating an apple · throwing objects back and forth with a volunteer · riding a unicycle Won 1st place in computer security at the state level.
